Highlights
Features & Advantages
- Uniform heating
- Thin-walled heatbreak
- Different printheads
- High filament compatibility
Rapido Plus hotends are compatible with Prusa 3D printers, but can also be used on other devices with an adapter.
There are two versions of the Rapido Plus Hotend:
Rapido Plus Hotend HF (High Flow):
The HF version of the Rapido Plus hotend is equipped with plated copper and a hardened steel nozzle (both 0.4mm / 1.75mm).
Rapido Plus Hotend UHF (Ultra High Flow):
The UHF version of the Rapido Plus hotend is equipped with plated copper (0.4 mm) and a Volcano nozzle (0.6 mm).
Ultra High-speed Printing
The printing volume can be up to 75mm3/s. The new design of the longer copper heatblock makes a larger molten area and meets the requirement of high temperature and high-speed printing.
One-Handed Nozzle Change
With low heat conduction titanium alloy screws, it can realize the function of one-handed nozzle change, which is safe and reliable.
High Heater Capacity
High-power cylindrical ceramic heating element up to 115W, heat from 24 Celsius to 280 Celsius in less than 51 seconds.
0.25mm Wall Thickness
Thin wall thickness heatbreak can eliminate heat creep, realizing excellent thermal insulation and no filament clog.
Interchangeable Design of Nozzles
The adoption of interchangeable designs of different types of nozzles can meet the requirements of high-temperature and fiber filament printing.
Wide Compatibility
Compatible with all thermoplastic filaments, including but not limited to typical composite fiber filaments such as PLA, ABS, PETG, TPU, PP, PA, and PLA-CF, ABS-CF, PETG-CF, PA-CF/GF, as well as composite filaments such as steel, wood, boron carbide, tungsten, and fluorescence.

it worked.

This works with the official Voron Rapido Stealburner mount without modification. The connectors did not match the ones on my build (Formbot Kit w/ Dragon HF) so I had to cut, crimp and replace with ones that works. Of course your mileage will vary but if you built you printer with a Formbot kit… be aware that it’s not just plug in and go.

Awesome Hotend

I’ve been running this with a Diamondback .4mm nozzle. Now flow issues printing at speeds up to 300mm/s but mostly I print around 150mm/s.

One of the best hotends.
It heats up quickly and does not clog.
