I am very impressed by the built quality and functions. The wide grill surface gives it the edge over traditional air fryers. It replaced a 5-year-old Philips XL Airfryer that had become almost unusable due to the impossible-to-clean accumulated grease around the heating element (which made the air fryer smokea chimney even with nothing in it) and the worn-out coating.
It is much bigger than the Philips even though the Philips was supposed to be 8.5L and the Chefree is 6L.
I find the opening lid a huge advantage because it allows you to clean it and avoid grease accumulation, and the washing machine-compatible surfaces will make cleaning a breeze.
All it’s missing is a dehydration function to be the absolute best air fryer for me.
