If you are looking for a Quality rehear surround speaker and look no further
Easy install if you are doing these get the one cutter so you don’t over or under cut the hole
Deep great bass response
Punching mid and highs
All that you would expect in a name like B&W

I am running a 9.2.2 Dolby Atmos system and these two as my in-ceiling, overhead presence speakers were the one piece I WAY overshot. These would be great as in-wall sides or rears but for overheads, I definitely would have gotten smaller had I not already cut huge holes in my ceiling.
That said, they are amazing! My mistake was one of budget and reasonable-ness. They do NOT underperform!!!

Superb sound, we get to enjoy great sound and share our playlist with family and friends.

Very surprised by the amount of mid and bass punch wish they were a little crisper on the high but other than that they are very good and well recommended decided to try these until I can step up to the 800 series for my heights to match my 800 series towers

Well I couldn’t be happier with my Bowers & Wilkins In-Ceiling Speakers. They paired great with the rest of my Bowers & Wilkins speaker and Yamaha Receiver. I do believe I now have a dream home theater system…

These are fantastic. Out of all the models b&w sells for ceiling speakers, these are the 1st model of the upper range 8inch speakers. You want a good range for ceiling speakers with abibly to aim the tweeter to your listening position. And have enough woofer to fill in the mid to low range. They sell less expensive models. But if it’s in your budget you have to consider that you are cutting a 10 inch hole in the ceiling and then run the wires. It’s a commitment that you shouldn’t skimp on. My atmos featured movies are better than ever.

The speakers are marvelous. The sound is great, would give 5 stars. But… the installer broke 4 of the 7 we had, I sent to get repaired by B&W and their outside agency charged me (as expected) to repair, but when I got 4 back, only 2 were repaired correctly. Had to buy 2 more to give installer, so now I have 2 broken ones. Complain, and send back to repair. They ‘fixed’ it, but still broken. Sent back again… the saga continues… United Repair has some quality control issues…
I do recommend getting a tone-generator off Amazon, a simple gadget that with 9V battery, can put a frequency out of the speaker so you can test.
Ease of Use – no instructions on aiming the tweeter, so the installer twisted it, breaking it. Later we saw you need to point the whole assembly as you install the ‘cage’. There is even an arrow! So much for using an electrician for install (it was part of house remodel, electricians were already installing lights and wiring)
