5 stars are not enough. the sound so crisp, so sweet, so intimate. at any volume, any kind of music, even streaming sound so great. you need a very good amp as companion. in my case. McIntosh MHT-200. if you enjoy filling your house with music, B&W 705 is what you need

I got these 70% off at best buy. That being said these speakers are amazing. Finding the right speakers can be hard given the preferences of different people. Ive used Klipsch, sony, bose, and JBL. The 703S3 models have been the least fatiguing speakers Ive heard that arent electrostats (a whole other beast). I used a test room for hours with Dyno, Logans, and KEF. To my ears, B&W were simply the best.
Movies were immersive, old games were a new experience, music lowered my stress, I can’t recommend these speakers enough. I did pair these up to a Marantz cinema 70. Trust me when I say they’re loud enough for your house even with 50 watt channels. If you can fork over a little extra Id recommend a Cinema 50 110w model. If you can afford a lot more, go with Arcam and….its another realm for “enthusiasts”.
Ill admit a cheaper alternative would be the klipsch 8000f set. Its not as good….but its close.

For clout the 800 series is better. The marketing and finance departments at Bowers and Wilkins are excellent at differentiating their lineup. For our needs these are ideal. Would I get the 800s if I had the money? Yes. Would they sound or look better to my ears and eyes? Not at all. Should we all stop seeking clout and just enjoy these incredible products? Yes. Just get these and donate the rest to charity, thank me later.

Excellent speakers! I have 802’s in the living room and wanted something a little smaller. These speakers don’t give up to much at all to the more expensive 800 series. The better electronics you have, the better they get! Highly recommended!

I’ve been a B&W fan since I first purchased a pair of CM8s 13 years ago, which are still running strong. I auditioned the 703 S2 as a possible upgrade, but I was a bit underwhelmed. They sounded great, but they were not a huge leap compared to my CM8. The 703 S3, however, are next level! These are a significant improvement over, not only the CM8, but the S2 also! Equally impressive is the design of the S3! The rounded front and extended drivers are a major improvement over the previous version. They are truly one of the best looking speakers I’ve seen!

I paired my B & W 703 S3 with Marantz M1. These aee exceptional speakers producing sound with great clarity. I tested with Apple music and spotify, I could hear lot more detail out of B & W compared to any other speakers I have. (KEF, Martin Logan). B & W severly lack bass, a subwoofer is a must. Unlike KEF LS50 wireless II, which I feel subwoofer is optional.

Nice separation in the music with high fidelity you tube music. Very solid binding post and nice cabinets. No complaints and see no reason to get next model up.
