Anbernic RG35XXSP – The best alternative to Game Boy Advance SP
The Anbernic RG35XXSP or RG35XX SP, ANBERNIC’s first clamshell handheld, closely resembles the classic Game Boy Advance SP and can emulate consoles such as NES, SNES, Mega Drive, Game Boy, PS1, N64, Dreamcast, and some PSP games. Despite being slightly larger in thickness and weight, the RG35XXSP is almost identical in size and buttons. It offers similar specs to the RG35XX Plus and H models, including a 3.5-inch IPS screen with a 640 x 480 resolution, Allwinner H700 chipset, Dual-core G31 MP2 GPU, and 1GB of LPDDR4 RAM, in addition to a 3300mAh battery supporting an autonomy of up to 8 hours. This makes it powerful enough to emulate titles from 5th and 6th generation consoles like the SEGA Dreamcast and Sony PlayStation.

Product: Absolutely a dream unit – great build quality that feels sturdy but incredibly light and pocketable. Buttons might be a tad bit too clicky & noisy for some but I absolutely love it for short gaming sessions (15-60mins). Comes preloaded with many incredible games and a good branded SD card as well. Stock OS is decent and via RA, its a great experience. The lid enables quick sleep/save which is fantastic when you need to turn things off in a rush. Battery life seems to be great though charging takes a while.
P.S. there are reports of these devices burning/shorting/catching fire but can’t say how widespread this issue might be. Recommendation is to use the cable they provide and limit to a 5V adapter. Don’t use any fast charging adapters/cables. Also, do not charge this device when you’re going to sleep OR if you’re leaving your home. Stay nearby at least until there is more data.
