I returned the camera for no reason other than I was not suitably impressed with the image quality at that price. It felt well-built, the viewscreen had articulation which was a big selling point. Average photos were clear enough but seemed colorless, zoomed photos (non-digital zoom) were a little hazy. In all conditions, my Coolpix B500 has produced better pics. The software that is supposed to connect the Minolta and cell phone never once worked for me – inconvenient but not a dealbreaker. I opted to return this and order a higher end Nikon Coolpix, since I’ve had good luck with Nikon so far.

Its a very nice camera especially for the price. I was looking for something with zoom capabilities and this is great for taking pictures of wildlife

I just went on a 3 week trip through California, Nevada and Arizona. From Lake Tahoe to lake mead to lake Havasu and the Grand Canyon. This camera has made clear, sharp memories that have already impacted my network and will continue to do that. An easy to use, with great zoom, bridge camera I recommend for everyone

This has many of the basic features of a modern mirrorless camera. But it is very cheaply made, has very poor light sensitivity due to the small sensor, and extremely poor color rendition. An incredible annoyance is the video button right next to the thumb rest – no matter how careful I was, I kept starting the video. I bought this for my daughter to photograph hawks that are nesting behind her house, but the image quality with the zoom was worse than her phone. I returned it. If you are a beginner in photography you are better off buying a used “real” camera.

I am not a real ‘camera guy’ and do not know about fStops and exposure times and all the rest. I have only had it a little over a month but have been using it a lot to learn how to use it. I do know how to point and shoot at birds and flowers and animals that we see on our adventures just for fun. This camera is easy to use for someone like me and takes remarkable pictures. I love the function that lets me take pictures by using my phone. No more bad selfies. I’d buy it again.
