This is a first Yamaha amp. I have very nice and sound
very clear powerful amp. I will go for another Yamaha R-N2000 or A-S3200SL
Dclee –
Very good clean Network Receiver, but at this price range for current times it should include HDMI, which is available on the RN1000 but is audio only. It should be able to display the now playing on the TV via HDMI which is a very desired feature especially at the 1k+ price point. Big miss by Yamaha, but the overall build and SQ is very nice. YPAO needs to be adjustable via PEQ.
Musicast needs some work – very laggy and not well laid out

Bought for an upgrade from the Yamaha R-N303, used Spotify and the phono input and couldn’t tell much of a difference. It has more of a flat sound than something where you can boost the treble and bass to give it more oomph. Bass is definitely lacking as mentioned in some other reviews. YPAO is kinda subjective with the results. I expected more than just an updated screen and additional functionality and connection options. Used a pair of ELAC Debut 2.0 B6.2 and an SB-1000 Pro thru the subwoofer out. I ended up returning this receiver.
