Awful app and doesn’t stay connected. No service to speak of if it is working the sound quality is pretty good. But most of the time it’s a heavy paper weight

    2. 1234

Good bass, and bar connection to watch movies and listen to music effect is very good, but the software is a little difficult to use, but finally overcome

    3. RobertR

The B&W Formation series is excellent. This bass unit really enriches the sound of everything you run through the system.

    4. Suzanne

Easy to install, great sound. The Bluetooth sometimes has been an issue, otherwise is great

I got a formation wedge and love it but it definitely has some missing lows. I thought this would solve it, but man I got this bass added and it is SUPER weak. I have my bass at +12 db maxed out in the app and it is the low end of the SVS subs i use. I barely can hear my sub and sometimes have to put a hand near it to make sure it works/is even working. Is this normal for everyone else? The bass is tight because it doesn’t have any oomph…no store near me has anymore in stock nor are any stores open for me to check if mine is just bad…or is this how they built it. I wish i could put a regular sub with my formation wedge. the next 30 days I will have to decide to maybe just go with bookshelves. Wanted to save space but the lack of options with the formation series makes you spend top dollar for subpar performance bass wise…
i wouldnt say im super picky audioholic but i do have the SVS SB12 and to compare too and this would be the SB12 at the 10% setting lol…

I own ALL the formation products. This bass packs a proper punch. Works excellent paired w the Duo’s for low end support for 2 channel stereo and perfect for the 5.1 when setup with the Bar and Flex’s for surrpund sound. Owned 2 years now and zero complaints or issues. I own 2 of these.

I initially bought just the wedge, then felt the need for sub. This does not disappoint, makes my def tech system sound ordinary . I have it in my living room , quite large with high ceilings and this fills that space perfectly. I tried to move the sub once unplugging power and relocating, it stopped working. I have to factory reset both wedge and bass to get it working. It’s as simple as two clicks to do that and it works flawlessly again. I can see how it could be frstrating if u did not know how to fix it.

This is an absolutely awesome sound system that blows away anything from Sonos or Bose. Whether you are listening to the TV or just high fidelity audio, this system does it all. It’s easy to set up, sounds great, modular so you can add additional components and has a very cool and unique design.
