Bowers and Wilkins 707 s2 used in a 2.1 setup for music listening in a small to medium sized room—they’re fantastic.
Build quality is premium. It’s a heavy speaker for its compact size. If you’re upgrading from budget speakers, it’s like going from a Toyota Corolla to driving a Mercedes. Less expensive speakers can get the job done, but what you get from the 707 s2 is refinement.
The speakers are resolving. If you crave rich bass, add a subwoffer. Paired with a sub with the crossover frequency adjusted, they’re an absolute treat. Feed the speakers power, use good sources, high-quality music, and you’ll be rewarded with a solid listening experience.
Clean and minimalist is the design of the 707 s2. It has magnetic grilles. The sound quality is excellent. It’s expensive—but if you’re interested and think this speaker will be an match for your room and system, go for it with confidence.

Bought as open box…said “excellent” but not quite. Visible marks…but sounds fantastic! Really astonishing sound, especially considering how small these speakers really are.

Amazing bookshelf speakers, better than the KEF LS50. This has the Bowers & Wilkins sound that is their signature. It is a little lively but it is very detailed. This replaced a 600 series B&W and this was noticeably better within the first few minutes

I purchased these speakers to replace 20 year-old rear surround speakers. I decided to upgrade to Bowers & Wilkins to replace another speaker system. I decided to break-in these speakers using an amp to bi-amp and use both connections by removing the terminal link. I played music at various levels for over 30 hours to have the speakers ready. I am amazed at the bass response as well as how clear and clean everything sounds! I had considered upgrading to the more expensive B & W speakers that has the tweeter placed on top of the speaker cabinet (like the 702 S2’s that I have for my main speakers. I decided to use the smaller speaker and couldn’t have been more pleased with my choice. These 2-way speakers blow away more expensive speakers. Plus, they look great and have a small footprint.
Case –
It was time to replace my early 90s B&W 600 series speakers. These speakers are smaller but pack a punch with B&W’s legendary tweeters and mid bass woofers. Luckily I got a great deal as these were open box priced.

This is the best speaker I never have towards your movies to listen in music totally this is the best speakers. I have too bay another pair.
