I picked up a couple of Roku Streambars SE thinking they would just give a bit of a boost to my TV’s sound. Turns out, it’s like my whole entertainment system went from tin can radio to mini home theater! Not only is the audio now clear and rich, but it fills the guest room like magic. It’s like Dolby surround sound and a Roku made a baby, and it was worth every penny!
Setting it up was ridiculously easy – plug in, connect WiFi, and bam, instant upgrade. It’s like my TV finally got the ‘glow-up’ it’s been waiting for.

Set up was as easy as any Roku product. The remote included is NOT voice activated, BUT you can connect another Roku remote that is voice activated, so that is a plus. Sound is REALLY great if all you have is the TV speakers. highly recommend !!!!

The Roku Streambar brings the best of both worlds together, amazing and powerful sound, and the Roku entertainment package which brings all your streaming services together in one place! My only reason for not giving it 5 stars, many times when I start playing a movie, I will get distorted sound and then the movie will stop playing, it corrects after I replay the movie; I’m hoping this one is just defective. I am returning it for a new one and will update after I receive the new one! I have purchased other Roku products and have not had any issues so again hopefully it’s isolated. Great products at my favorite place to shop, Best Buy!

Just know that the remote that comes with the Streambar SE is considered a “simple” remote. It “does not” turn on our very new Insignia Fire TV. It will turn it off and control the apps and sound but not turn it on. I spent over an hour trying to figure it out then another 45 minutes with Roku support for the guy finally to tell me this. Bad on you Roku for being so cheap. Sound is pretty decent we attached it to an outdoor deck TV. Light on bass but not bad volume was quite good.

Amazing product. I do recommend it. It’s definitely worth buying. Besides being a Roku, the soundbar is excellent.

I would like to give this 5 stars, but it’s not quite perfect. Pros- Small package for amount of sound. Easy Roku setup with account. OK, bass and volume. Cons – No mounting bracket options or holes of any kind. HDMI/CES control is nice, but if you want sound from another source, you have to go thru the tv settings and disable the amplifier every time. It comes back on when you switch back to the Roku input. This may be more of a TV issue but still annoying.

I researched this for about two hours late last night and decided to get the roku streambar and it’s fantastic. I have it on my 30 inch roku bedroom television and it has made a word of difference and I’m glad I got it. My 55 inch roku in the living room has a full length wise soundbar but this streambar is perfect for a bedroom. Would I get this for a bigger size television? no not really unless a last resort to just get you by but again for a bedroom size TV its perfect. It has a good bass output not wall shaking but turned up it might tingle a nearby window…(LOL)…but it’s still great! and trust me you will love it for your bedroom. The set took about ten minutes when you have two roku remotes. So after hooking up I am now just using my regular TV remote and the new streamline remote dont work or is not needed cause the TV remote has taken over but hey that’s ok it works! Get this you’ll love it.
